How are the stocks ranked in the top insider buys and sells screeners?

The top insider buys and sells screeners rank companies by the intensity of insider buying or selling across three parameters:

• The net number of insiders buying (considering both insiders buying and selling);
• The net amount of stock bought relative to the floating stock; and
• The percentage of stock held by insiders.

From there, all companies having reported insider buys or sells in the selected timeframe are ranked across those three parameters. The company at the top of the screener is the company that scored best on average.
